Templates can be created for almost all modules. Their purpose is to avoid writing documents from scratch and copying old documents with adjusted data every time you are making a new document.

You can create a new template simply by uploading a word or similar file in template creator. You give the template a name, category, define where it will be used and define allowed export formats. Then save it and start using it.

Word editing and dynamic fields

When you are creating a template for invoices, you can edit the template in a word plugin when you want to change data and even add dynamic fields for variable data that are different for every individual invoice.

Dynamic fields are fields in MS Word document templates that are filled by data from modules out of which they are created.

Example: You need to send invoice to one of your customers. Customers data and data on their order are already saved in Acronx. Acronx also already has invoice template with dynamic fields prepared.
