The Codelist module is designed for managing and customizing codelists within a platform, offering users a comprehensive tool for editing existing codelists and creating new ones.
Upon entering the module, users are greeted with a neatly organized layout. On the left side of the screen, there's a list of all existing codelists. Clicking on any codelist from this list opens its entries in a table format on the right side of the screen, allowing for easy viewing and editing.
Adding a new entry to an existing codelist is straightforward. Users simply select the desired codelist from the list, and upon its display, click the 'Add' button. This action creates a new row in the table for the new entry. Users begin by filling in the 'Key' field, which must be unique across the entire platform. The CRM system ensures uniqueness by alerting users with an error message if there's a duplication. Following this, the 'Data' field is filled in, which is used for the entry's representation in the codelist. The process is completed by clicking the 'Save' button.
For creating an entirely new codelist, users can click on the small plus icon located at the top of the codelist list. This opens a simple form where users can give the new codelist a title and add it to the list. Once created, entries can be added to this new codelist in the same manner as editing existing ones.
